Malinois Maxx kicked off his board and train program this week! There are a lot of reasons to own this awesome breed - there are zero reasons to not (seriously) train this breed. When I train new malinois handlers I often use the following example to emphasize timing and fundamentals for clear communication : ‘working this breed is like driving a mazarati with a stick shift, done correctly and smoothly you will fly forward...done sloppily/forced and you will grind gears and stall out.’ And like my dad teaching me to drive stick shift when I was 16, I also encourage handlers to ‘spend a lot of time practicing in the church parking lot before entering traffic.’ #patience #respect #malinoisownership #runyourpack #malinois #maligator #malinoisofinstagram🐾
