RYP had the privilege of teaching a working k9 elements course at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy yesterday.
The whole day was spent geeking out about dog psychology and motivation while discussing and demoing how all that relates to the working k9 disciplines of detection, tracking/trailing and bitework.
This up and coming group of officers was SUPER fun to teach! They were engaged the whole time, asking great questions and some were even willing to jump in the suit and get bit when asked.
